This is a rare totally complete set of Dicken's Centennial Edition Books. All 36 volumes are included! They are all in EXCELLENT like new condition. I could not find any pencil/pen marks, fingerprints or folded corners. Some of them even have an orginial synopsis (one page folded insert) from the publisher. They all still have the attached ribbon like book mark intact as well. All of the stories are illustrated with copies of the orginial pen and ink type drawings.

They are hard cover in a faux leather like finish. They have gold embossed lettering and embellishments on the cover as well and this is in exellent condition as well. The books were published in the early to mid 1970's and sold in installments from the publisher Heron Books.

Book dimensions are approximate 8 inches by 5 inches by 1 3/4 inches.

The same set as this recently sold on ebay for $400 US, and one of the volumes was badly damaged, and the buyer will also have to cough up another $100 for postage minimum. If you or your family are seriously interested in fine literature this is an excellent set of Charles Dickens to acquire. Don't be disappointed when it sells. More recently a set in excellent condition sold for $740 US.

The photography in this book is breath-taking to say the least as you would expect of a book with this title. In excellent condition, hardcover, 415 pages.

Lovely handpainted pottery horse-head bookends. they stand about 14.5 cms tall and are about 13 cms long.

These are the most stunning bookends I have seen for some time. There are horse heads and they are made of brass. They stand a tall 22.5 cms. I will only consider close offers on these bookends because I know they are very special.
