Chinaware: wembley ware, china, cups, plates, etc

This is a london Pride decorative display plate. It has the scenes of most of the major places in London, i made by Argyle China, Burslem Staffordshire. The plate has a diameter of nearly 16 cms and is in excellent condition.

This is a magnificant GOLD and yellow tea service with tea pot, sugar bowl and milk jug, made by Gibsons, Staffordshire, England. This set has a very Art Deco look to it. The pot stands at about 14 cms high to give you an idea of dimensions. this is a very unusual and stunning set. I am told that there is real gold in the gold gildering. In excellent condition.

This a very large Carlton Ware serving platter, in the lobster series. This piece has a small chip under one edge but it can not be seen from the top, and may be repairable. In mint condition, a plate like this would go for about $150 or even more. The size of the platter is 44 cms x 28 cms....that's huge. I have also added a photo so you can see where it is chipped.

A large Beswick vase "FERNBANK", standing about 30 cms tall. this is an old vintage piece as there is some crazing inside. A very classic look, would look great in a modern or heritage setting.

A stunning Diana ware (Australia) shell vase. Colour is more yellow than depicted in photograph...with gilt edging. Measures 28 cms x 18 cms x 11 cms (high). In excellent condition. Has that lustred finish typical of Wembley Ware.

A shelley bone china trinket bowl, with diameter 11.5 cms...also in shape of a flower. Needs a good clean.

A superb Royal Albert Bone China (trinket) bowl, or small serving bowl...Measures 14.5 cms long.
