6 x magnificant large cat with glass eyes, marked Meriden B Company 235.
Two with red eyes, two with yellow eyes, and one with amber eyes. All in excellent condition.
It is shown in the book by Gottschalk and Whitson, "Figural Napkin Rings: Collectors Identification and Value Guide" on page 8 in Plate 1.
It is also shown on the front cover of the book with some other highly prized figural napkin rings.
They valued it at under $350- $500 in 1996, but you rarely see this ring and in such great condition. Sometimes the eyes are missing or have been replaced. $1300

Shown in G&W in Plate 12 on Page 13. I believed to have been made by Wilcox Silver Plate Co.
One is marked 1310, usually not marked at all.
Shown in the book by Gottschalk and Whitson's book "Figural napkin Rings: Collectors Identification and Value Guild", on page 13 in plate 12.
Their ring is not marked as to maker or number.
They say is was possibly made by Wilcox Silver Plate Co. They valued it at $200-$350 in 1996.
The same ring was also made without glass eyes. I do not have that but add a photo below for interest only. $850

A large cat stand palyfully or defensively alongside a very detailed engraved napkin ring.
Unmarked as to maker and number as far as I can see. In G&W book, page 11, plate 8. Located to be James W Tufts 1596.
This figural napkin rimng has two cats standing on their hind legs supporting the napkin holder on top of their heads.
Maker and number not marked.
This napkin ring has the same cat as above, but the cat is standing on an ornate circular footed pedestal base,
and the napkin ring rests on the cats back and turned up tail.
It is unmarked as to the maker, but I 80% believe it is an authentic antique figural napkin ring.
I can take more photos if you are interested. I won't get around to repairing it.

In this figural napkin ring, a large cat is standing up at the side of the napkin holder looking at, and about to swoop a fly.
Very detailed. Marked Barbour Silver Co. #14. This ring is shown in the book G&W on page 10, in plate 7, but the one they had was unmarked.
This one is clearly marked and authentic, so in a sense we have identified the maker and number of this ring. Not all rings that were made were marked.

2 x A cat's head and a chicks head rest on either side of this slighly oval shaped napkin ring.
Marked Rogers Smith & Co. Meriden number 361.
The company was absorbed by Meriden B Company in 1860s but Meriden still used their old name sometimes.
Not shown in book G&W, so quite rare. $250
2 x This very rare figural napkin ring has a cat standing on a base next to a music stand. Marked Tufts 1609.
It is shown in the book by Gottschalk and Whitson in plate 4 on page 9. They valued it at $350 to $500 in 1996.
The ring is actually a bit rarer and hard to find as auction houses have valued it in 2004 and 2008 for $1000 to $1500.
It has sold for about $1000 twice that I can find. See below. Note the estimate was $2200 to $3500 (without premium). $2500
