c1900 Kauri pine kitchean table, turned legs, 2 drawers
Item number: 21072235

Price: $450 $350

A beautiful antique kitchen table.
Quite rare to find one made completely of kauri pine.
It may be bunya bunya pine. I do not think it is hoop or huon pine. It is not cypress pine.
It is lovely. 2 drawers with etchesions. Brass handles need to be refitted.
Solid wood drawers. No ply. c1890 to 1900. It came from queensland.

Compared to new shitty dining tables (costing $2000) this is a bargain.
I was told by the family that it was used as a kitchen table but it could be used as a desk as well.

Dropped price as one corner has sustained damage. easy fix for handyman.

Old pine Australian kitchen side table c1890-1900

Item number: 13111827

Price: $150

This is a very old pine Australian kitchen side table, I think from the 1890-1900 period. I say this because of my experience with turned legs.

The legs on this table are skinnier and there is a hint of a tulip shape.

The table is in very good condition for its age, and another good thing about it is that it is not painted.

The top is 64 cms x 96 cms, and is 77 cms off the ground.

The legs look to be made of oregon whereas the top is more conventional pine, maybe kauri or hoop pine. All this table needs is a good clean and a polish.

This is a c1900 games slash side table slash wine table. Lovely 3d inlay on top. Turned oak pedestal leg. Tripod pedestal base. Excellent condition. 62.5 cm high. Top is 49.5 cms square. Very useful and hard to find now. No idea what woods and used in the top. The edges look to be solid mahogany.

Art Deco era unique jarrah turned pedestal table or stand

Item number: 180710019

Price: $350

In original condition. I gave it a quick wipe but needs a bit more of a clean. Just dust.

I have no need for it now so I am selling it. It is full jarrah. Untouched.

Unique. Includes cute bun feet.

This is c1920-1930.

nearly 800 mm high. diameter top about 450mm. this is unique.

It is much taller than a conventional wine table, which makes me think it is made to display a large statue or pot on top, but then why is special curly fiddleback jarrah chosen fro the top?

Would make a nice little card table or drinks table.

Vintage tall elegant jarrah turned jarrah pedestal

Item number:26111557

Price: 275

A nice vintage jarrah pedestal standing 121 cms tall with a lovely turning on the pedestal.

I am not sure of the age of this peice, but would guess around 1910-1920. This would look magnificant with a nice jardinere on top, or a nice vase.

Guildford church pew / brench seat c1880, oregon or baltic pine and wrought iron

Item number: 18021835

Price: $350

This large church pew is made of wrought iron and oregon or baltic pine. It came out of an old church in Guildford, and was dated by Gregsons Auctioneers as 1880. It needs a couple of slats to be replaced and then a good lick of paint or you may want to strip it back. The pew is 2.45 metres long and stands 95 cms tall. From one of the photos you should be able to see the shelf at the back of the chair which was used to place the bibles on by the row behind this chair in church.

Fully restored oregon pine trunk

Price: $350

photo 049_0.jpg

This is a lovely oregon pine trunk with the sides made from one piece of wood, displaying beautiful grain throughout. In excellent condition....fully restored.

The trunk measures 43.5 cms x 45.5 cmx x 92.5 cms. Would be ideal as a coffee table or as a storage box (at the end of the bed would look great).

George III writing bureau and chest drawers, oak + mahogany, Genuine c1780 !!

Item number: FUR20051424

Price: $1850 ono c1780!!

This is superb Georgian (George III, c 1780) sloping top writing bureau chest. Still with original finish even though it is some 230 years old. The inside is fitted with pigeon holes and a drawer. I believe it may have had another 1 or 2 more drawers but they seem to have discarded. The drawers and slope are stringed....inlaid around the borders. In a catalog a piece like this would be priced from $4000 to $15,000. This piece has recently been restored (not over restored). the inside of the drawers are all oak but I think the veneer at the front is mahogany, striged with some yellow wood. The sides appear to be solid mahogany. All the drawers work fine. The bureau is 91 cms wide, stands 109.5 cms high and is 51 cms deep. They make repros of thesebut this is the genuine 240 year old bureau.

Amazing early West Australian Colonial Gentleman's Press c1850-1860

Item number: 15080011

Price: NOT FOR SALE seeking information only.

The title says it all. I think this is the most amazing early jarrah piece I have ever seen. And it is virtually untouched. I have a video where you can see it was made with large dovetails and screws. All the side timbers and back at nearly 7 foot tall, and wide close to 2 feet wide. Whomever ordered to have to made must have asked for it to be made modular for transport. It weighs about 200 kgs. It is epic in design as well. These large pieces of jarrah would have been pit sawn, then smoothed down with a plane, dried for ages, and then sanded and put together in this stunning modular design. I believe the colours were deliberately chosen. a masterpiece. Item is not for sale but possible donation. Seeking information for National Trust. I want to find its true home.
