IF
YOU LIKE STERLING SILVER, THERE ARE ALSO LOTS OF
OTHER STERLING SILVER UNDER THE CATEGORIES "PERSONAL" (PERFUME BOTTLES,
MIRRORS AND BRUSHES, PHOTOGRAPH FRAMES, ETC), and UNDER "JEWELLERY"
(RINGS, CHAINS, BRACELETS, BANGLES, ETC.).
There are also some
sterling silver bangles and rings in this
section, which probably
should have been in the jewellery
section, but
it is too hard to move them into the correct category, so we have
simply pushed them to the end of this category.

Sterling Silver cased spoon and tongs set
in original leather case
Item number: 18020328
Price: $550
A stunning cased set of sterling silver spoons (12) plus sugar tongs
(RARE!). The interior of the case is plush and the outside seems to be
made of hardened leather. The monographed spoons with decorations on
the handles are made in London in 1903...can't make out the maker's
name. The other spoons were made by "R.P." in London in 1904. The sugar
tongs were made by the same maker as the decorated spoons (same
decoration) in London in 1902. I would think the decorated spoons are
for tea and coffee, and the other spoons are for desert.
