A nice large vintage jack plane, measures 40.5 cms long. The blade has stamped on it Mathieson and Sons.

A nice early wood hand plane....measures 25.5 cms long.

An early edging plane....quite unusual in that it makes two grooves...see blade in photo....measures 24 cms long.

This is an old Rabone 12 inch rule and square PLUS a Starrett angle iron which fits onto this ruler. Both are very collectable...the Rabone square is one of the most sought after.

3 lovely coffin planes from the Hall Museum of Guildford...still have the labels on them from when the collection was sold off in 1994. For those of you who do not know the Hall museaum was the largest individual collection of antiques and collectables in the Southern hemisphere. Mr Hall acquired most of his collection from the eccentric Mr Whiteman, who is famous in Western Australia. 2 of the planes are stamped J. Kimpton (presumably the owners name)...the other is stamped (as far as I can make out) J. Parsons (but this may be the makers name)...one of the Kimpton planes is stamped "British Made", and the other also with J. White and C. Nurse, 32 Mill St, Maidstone...I think the later may be the maker of this plane. This is a lovely little collection with some provenience.

A lovely collection of 7 vintage medical tools...I must say I do not really know what these are/were used for....one appears to be a sensitive pair of tweezers, another a tool for cutting stitches perhaps, and another for keeping an eye open perhaps. They are in good aged condition.
