Uranium Glass

This is an absolute stunner. It draws immediate attention and looks saintly when under UV light. The statue depicts a boy or girl holding a deer. The bowl stands nerly 5 cms tall on outside and has a diameter of 28 cms. It is beautifully etched along the outside and has a raised central stand on which the statue and frog sit. The staue is nearly 23 cms tall. The piece would be in mint condition if it was not that the haed of the statue has been broken and glued back on (rather well done too). When put together it is about 29 cms tall, that is one foot in the old scale. You will be lucky to find anything half as nice as this anywhere.

5 stunning uranium glass side plate....can you imagine them on your dinner table with an UV light...your guests will be beside themselves. They are thin-ish (no, i can spell, not from there) and beautifully patterned pressed glass....about 14 cms diameter.

2 Uranium glass bowls, measuring 11 cms in diameter.

A delicate Victorian uranium-glass serving bowl with a hollowed-out stem. The ouside opf the stem is alspo edged...hexagonal. You can tell it is really old because it has a pontil and is so thin. I would say it is c1880-1900.

A lovely Art Deco uranium glass circular trough vase...diameter 15 cms, height 4.5 cms. Very solid, excellent condition

A lovely uranium glass trough vase OR pen tray (for the office), in excellent condition. The amount of uranium in this piece must be quite high as it even glows in natural light. The tough is 20 cms x 3.5 cms x 4.5 cms high.

URANIUM GLASS IS EXTREMELY COLLECTABLE AND WILL APPRECIATE SUBSTANCIALLY IN THE FUTURE.

Two stunning matching Art Deco Uranium glass jars with bakelite lids. the taller one is 20 cms tall and the shorter one is 13 cms tall. they are in excellent condition. The only fault is that there is some cracking to the bakelite lid of the small jar due to aging. I sold two identical jars like this on ebay to an American for $165 plus postage, that is over $200. They both glow profusely under UV light.

A stunning Uranium glass vase. In excellent condition overall...seems to have a tiny insignificamnt chip under the lip but I think this is actually a manufacturing defect, like a bubble. The vase stands 15 cms tall and has a 'diameter' of 16 cms at the top at the widest point.
