Possible apprentice chest

Item number: WOO12121558

Price: $275

This looks like an apprentice chest to me. I do not know what wood it is made from. Whoever had it before me took most of the original finish off. Still a lovely decorative piece. Measures 19 x 15.5 x 11.5 cms. Can also be used a jewellery box.

antique rare pair wooden treen boot shoe stretchers (2)

Item number: WOO0704092326

Price: $295

These are absolutely lovely with patina and wood grain. They have a middle part with grooves that slides in between the front and end parts of the feet to stretch out the boots/shoes.

Just imagine the work that would have gone into making these with chisels and sandpaper. The wooden feet are about 10.5 inches long (or 27 cms) with the insert in between.

I have never seen boot stretchers like this before.

They are in very good condition.

Postage in Australia $10 USD. Postage USA $30 USD. Postage Europe $35 USD.
Postage will be at cost. No handling fees.

THE GROVE AND RUNNERS IN EACH PIECE MEANS YOU CAN USE TWO INSERTS FOR A BIG SHOE.
ALSO, JUST THE FRONT PART INSELF CAN BE USED TO PUSH OUT A SQUASHED BOOT, AS SHOWN IN ONE OF THE PHOTOS BELOW
.

2 x antique early and very rare Australian red edar wooden coin registers c1850

Item number: WOO24081643

Price: $500 & 650

It is rematkable that thise two early coin registers have survived for so long.

They were the old stores coin register.

Made from Australian red cedar and dating to around c1850.

I often wonder how they cut the hemispherical holes out.

You will be lucky to see anything like these again.
They are Australian and from our colonial days.

They are museum quality.

I have not tried to restore them in any way.
