Two Australian scene oil on board paintings by J. van Rooten..one of a
gorge likely to be in Northern Territory, and one of a wetlands area.
The paintings are identically framed and are offered as one lot as they
compliment each other. the sizes are: 45 x32 cms and 49 x 37 cms. trhey
look to have been painted in the 1960s.

A lovely framed oil on board of a coastal scene by George Voudouris
(1920-1990), measuring 55 cms x 75 cms, and in excellent condition. In
2005 a similar sized painting sold at Mckenzies auctions (Claremont)
for $750 AUS. George Voudouris was a listed local West Australian
artist, and m,ost of his work seems to have been from the North (WA). I
do not recognise the scene itself.

This is a lovely beaten copper artwork of a streetscape...I am pretty
certain I recognise it but not sure where...could be NORTHAM, YORK or
Kalgoorlie...the artwork is in very good condition (there are a couple
of small scratches here and there that should polish out)...it measures
50 cms x 37.5 cms and is backed onto a piece of wood....the artwork as
you can see is very good and it is very realistic for a copper
artwork.particularly its perspecvtive.
