White metal Scandinavian traditional brooch. Size: approx 6cm across.

This is quite a nice and unusual brooch. The top part with the birds and the centrepiece is white metal. The nuts and leavse look to be a slightly darker metal. I think it is tin, not pewter but pewter is 80-90% tin anyhow. The detail on the nuts is really good; some even have a hammered look. The whole piece looks to be hand made. It measures about 6.5 cms wide. I did not clean this piece for presentation.

The piece looks Scandinavian in style to me, but what would I know. It could be American or Australian. It is not marked as to the maker from what I can see.

I also have no idea about the age of this brooch. the hammered finish on the nuts does have an art crafts nouveau art deco feel. A lovely brooch nonetheless.

Neck piece for a wedding dress with beautiful pearl decoration. It's a bit hard to see from the photo, unless you look really hard, but this neckpiece is decorated with HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of pearls of varying sizes. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Hangs approximately 29cm.

I gave it to my favoutite 4 year old granddaughter Willow.

Sterling silver ring...smallish...probably for a female or a child.....unusual design.
