Stoneware

  A fantastic large demijohn made by/for Cuming Smith....who were a fertiliser factory from the early 20th century in Bayswater/Bassendean. This bottle is in excellent condition...has screw to and still with original rope covers....so hard to find a demijohn like this in such immaculate condition. Stands 48 cms tall. Cuming Smith became CSBP (note "CS") which then become Westfarmers who own Coles, Bunnings etc.  I have had this bottle for some time as Cuming Smith may have owned my house at one time. They did not build my house, so I am selling it now. 

A superb Bendigo Pottery lidded pot with handles....stamped underneath. The inside is also glazed...see photos. It satnds about 16.5 cms tall and has a diameter of about 24.5 cms. In excellent condition.
