Meerschaum pipe with horse carving, c1900

An early 20th century Meerschaum pipe carved with a horse...in fitted
case. The pipe is small, measuring about 8.5 cms long. It has a lovely
amber mouth piece. In excellent condition. This pipe could also be used
as a cigarette holder. The carving is also interesting because the
horse's back acts as a useful rest for your index finger when using the
pipe.

rolled gold 'goldoid' cigarette case

This is a lovely solid rolled gold
cigarette case. It is overall very solid construction...click closes
with a sharp snap...internal springs in good condition....stong opening
spring as well...stamped inside STANDPHAST (?) GOLDOID, MADE IN
ENGLAND, EMU BRAND, PATENT NO. 592790. Must have been one of the first
rolled gold gigarette caese made in this way, as it has a patent
number...the case is also piano hinged...in excellent condition. The
case is 113 x 84 mm. (or 4 1/2" x 3 1/3").

rolled gold cigarette case with original cigarettes inside

This
is an old Art Deco 1930/40s rolled gold cigarette case...what is
especially significant about this cigarette case is that it is full of
old cigarettes...the cigarettes are filterless (so very old) "Craven A
Virginia".... inscribed on the side with the cigarettes in made in
England...the strap ends have "ste-vel" on both ends...there may well
be hallmarks underneath the cigarettes but I am not game to take them
out...they look fragile and I was never going to be a surgeon....this
is a lovely and rare find, esp. to find an old cigarette case in such
excellent condition with its original cigaretes inside.....must have
been stored away for a long time...the case measures about 8.5 cms x 9
cms and a bit...it is curved to fit in your pocket and is in excellent
condition...no dents etc....the case weighs about 129 gms or 3.5 oz,
with is rather heavy for its size I would think.

Art Deco Cigarette Case AND Lighter in one

This
is a lovely Art Deco Ronson cigarette lighter and case in one. It has
lovely enamel work on the ouside of the case (brown & cream on
front, brown on back), and looks to have a chrome interior. The lighter
and case are marked "Ronson", "Dominion", "Art Metal Works Ltd" Toronto
Canada, Newark NJ USA. The size is approximately 10.5 cms x 5.5 cms x 2
cms. The lighter looks to be petrol filled (with a wick). It very good
aged condition.
