This is a Framed and Glazed crayon/pastel drawing, signed R. Hunter
July 1992.
The
only R. Hunter I can find is Australian artist Robert Hunter, whose
work can be found in most galleries around Australia and he is listed
on the Australian Art Sales Digest as having sold 39 paintings in
1970s-2005 and one in 2006. I am however no sure if this is his work
(quite different to his surreal acrylics) but you never know.
The
size of the painting itself is 39.5 cms x 23.5 cms...the frame size is
59.5 cms x 45 cms.
The
artwork and framing is in excellent condition...label at back says it
was framed in 1993

exceptional wityh cut-outs (see photo) and the painting is very

Stunning Australian coastal scene oli on board

A superb oil on board with an extraordinary frame...the scene is of
sheep grazing on a coastal strip, with sun bursting through the clouds,
colonial home, train on railway line, and ocean...the colours in the
painting are just magnificant...an exceptional work, signed by J
Beamish and dated Feb 1980. I think the scene is actually from Albany,
but it could well be New Zealand...hehe...I will let you know if I find
out, but the price may go up then.

A stunning colour-intense painting of an outback hilly and river
scene...looks like Australian outback. the artist is J. Zagi a local
South-West artist, who died recently in 2008. The size of the
canvas is 45 cms x 59.5 cms. It is unframed but is on canvas stretched
out over a wooden frame. Actually I think this stunning painting is
better unframed.
