earliy Russian filigree sterling silver cup holder

Item number: STE02052150

price: $195

This is a Russian early 20th century tea cup holder, which is stamped "POMMET" in Cyrillic on the base. There is also another stamp that is difficult to make out but seems to involve numbers. The body of the holder is made of filigree silver and the cup is decorated on the top and on the handle. There are no dents and there is no damage to the filigree. The cup stands nearly 9 cms high and has a diameter of 7 cms.

set 6 Victorian sterling silver ice cream spoons 1896

Item number: STE15050043

Price: $395

This is a set of 6 suberb Victorian sterling silver Old English Pattern ice cream spoons, hallmarked to Sheffield 1896.

They are made by Walker and Hall.

There are 14.5 cms long and in excellent condition. I have also placed a 10 cent coin in the photograph so you can 'see' their size better...they are somewhere between a teaspoon and soup spoon size. They are dated to 1896, and made by the reknowned silver-smith Walker & Hall. You don't see ice-cream spoons come up often. They are a touch bigger than teaspoons and a touch smaller than desert spoons.
