TALL 1900s sterling silver cut crystal
scent bottle
Item number: STE15050046
Price: $375
This is a beautiful tall Edwardian sterling silver (mounted) and cut
crystal scent bottle, hallmarked to London 1902.
The bottle is 20 cms tall...that is quite TALL. I
would say it is in excellent condition...just a few small dints here
and there. Note, I haven't cleaned it yet.
A must have for any scent bottle collection.

Art Deco Silver cup, London 1923
Item number: STE18052139
Price: $820
A large 1923 sterling silver trophy made in London, fully hallmarked,
made by SG. Is engraved for some horse race that took part in 1977 over
1900 metres (bit hard to make out the gothic scipts). It is a biggish
cup for sterling silver, standing over 19.5 cms tall. It is in very
good condition, just a few tiny dints here and there, actually only where it
is engraved. It has an Art Deco appeal to it, which is understandable
since it was made in 1923. It sits on a bakelite base with a felt
bottom. It weights about 400 gms and most of that is silver...that is
about 12-14 ounces of silver which for silver content alone is worth about $450, and it is 100 years old.

5 solid sterling silver tea spoons 1837
London BS JW
Item number: STE19062022
Price: $745
Here we have 5 lovely (IN EXCELLENT
CONDITION) solid sterling silver tea spoons or ice creams or desert
spoons. I mention the later because they look rather bigger than I
would have imagined old spoons looked like....but I am no expert. The
spoons also have extra large handle ends, like with which to hold the
spoon for eating something.....the other end of the spoons also seem to
have a pointed end for inserting into something like ice-cream.
The hallmarks are all VERY clear and in excellent
condition with the hairy lion face (London), walking lion, script
letter B (1837) , a duty hallmark (for taxation), and the makers name
BS (I believe this to me London silversmith Benjamin Smith).
It also have the initials JW on the spoons...who I
believe is Joseph William of London. Maybe they both did something
towards making these lovely spoons.
The spoons are 14 cms long (or 5 1/2 inches).
Like I said before they are in excellent condition.
