This is an old tin toy car...I think it is actually the first model Ford that came out in 1917...the number plates read T-1917A. There is also some impressed on the top of the radiator but it is hard to read. The car is in very good condition, just a bit of surface rust...should clean up nicely. The car is about 22 cms long. The back whells are fitted with a mechanical device that makes it sound like the engine is running when it is pushed along. It is made in JAPAN, where most good tin toys were made. I am uncertain about it's age but I would guess it is from the 1940s or 1950s.

A fantastic and much sought-after Japanese tin toy TONKA truck. this is a fire truck for the TFD (Tokyo Fire Department). The ladder is intact, can be elevated and extended with the winding wheel. This is a very rare Tonka truck...believe me. The truck and trailer is about 80 cms long...nearly a metre....wow!
